We are very proud to announce the new Ride Captain for the Southeast Metro!!!! It has been a while but this is an important position and just the right person needed to be put in this role. Jerry is married to Jan for 34 years and for some reason she still thinks he is funny. They have 5 children and 12 grandchildren.
Jerry has four grandchildren in the military. Two are in the Minnesota Red Bull National Guard with one having served two tours in Iraq. Two are active duty serving in the UK and both have served one tour in Iraq. They are just one of the reasons the Patriot Guard has become so important to him.
Jerry joined the National site in 2005 shortly after they became the Patriot Guard and has attended over two hundred missions.
Jerry was a distributor for the Wynn Oil Company for 30 years. They covered the Twin City metro, southern Wisconsin, and the greater Chicago area. They were engaged in the sales and marketing of equipment and products for the auto industry. In 2008 they sold the business and retired. He enjoys motorcycling (Victory), golf, fishing and when he can travel. Jerry and Jan have lived in Cottage Grove for the past 17 years.
I know Jerry is excited for this role and I look forward to watching him get the SE Metro sector rolling again. Jerry has big shoes to fill with people who preceded him in this role.
I want to once again thank Nate Zenker for serving this organization since literally day one here in Minnesota. We will miss you brother!
